Harker, died at her home, 819 Third avenue, Duncansville, last night at 9.50 o'clock, death being attributed to heart trouble. Mrs. Harker was about her home as usual all day yesterday but was stricken in the evening. She was born on Aug. 15, 1857, in Greenfield township, the daughter of Henry and Mary Hetrick. She was united in marriage with Joseph F. Harker in September, 1876, and resided in Freedom and Blair townships until about twenty years ago when the family moved to Duncansville, where Mr. Harker died on Nov. 18, 1925. Surviving are these children: James H. Harker, residing on a farm near Newry, Mrs. Minnie McGeary of Bellwood, John Harker, Mrs. Mary Carn and Mrs. Cora Henry, all of Duncansville, and three brothers, Samuel Hetrick of Duncansville, William Hetrick of Altoona and James Hetrick of Claysburg. Twenty grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive. She was a member of the East Freedom Lutheran church. Funeral services will be conducted at the home in Duncansville Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of Rev. T. Stacy Capers, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of Hollidaysburg. Interment will be made in the Newry Lutheran cemetery. Altoona Mirror, Thursday, January 15, 1931
