Harkins of Douglas, Ariz., died Wednesday night after an illness of pneumonia. His early life was spent in Spangler and later he resided in this city, where he was employed in the railroad blacksmith shop. He was aged 32 years and is survived by his wife and one son, also by his father, Peter Harkins of El Paso, Tex., three sisters, Mrs. C. A. Phelps of El Paso, Mrs. James Condon of Douglas, Ariz., and Mrs. Albert Gearhart of 2219 Eighth avenue, this city, and two brothers, James of 677th aero squadron, Morrison, Va., and Peter, in the United States navy.
