WILLIAM HARKINS,

Father of John E. and James Harkins of this city, died of a
complication of diseases at his home in Lancaster this morning, aged 80
years, 2 months and 1 day.  He is survived by three sons and four
daughters.  The funeral will take place on Saturday morning; services
to be held in St. Mary's church, Lancaster.  The sons in this city were
summoned to Lancaster Tuesday, and were at their father's bedside when
he died.
