Harman, aged 13 years and 7 days, son of A. P. and Tressy Harman, 1007 Second avenue, died at his parents' home at 12.40 yesterday morning from tetanus, as a result of being shot with a blank cartridge at Tyrone on the Fourth of July. He is survived by his parents, two brothers and two sisters -Walter A., Cloyd E., Helen L., and Florence T. The boy went to Tyrone to celebrate the Fourth and was armed with a revolver and blank cartridges. During the day he accidentally shot himself. He came home and was under the doctor's care until he died. It was not supposed that the wound would prove fatal, but every care was given the patient. The funeral will take place at 2.30 Saturday afternoon. Interment in Oak Ridge. Altoona Times, Thursday, July 16, 1903
