Harmon, 83, of 117 Spring St., Aliquippa, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 1974, in Golfview Manor Nursing Home, Aliquippa. Born July 22, 1891 in Altoona, Pa., he was a retired electrician, Aliquippa Works, Jones & Laughlin Steel Corp., a member of St. Titus Catholic Church, Aliquippa, the Holy Name Society of the church, Aliquippa Local 1211, United Steelworkers of America, and Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge, Aliquippa. [He was the second son of Maggie E Brandt and William H. Harmon.] Surviving are two sons, William J., Aliquippa, and Eugene, Baltimore, Md.; three daughters, Mrs. Paul (Lois) Raymond, Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Ralph (Rachel) Heaton, Aliquippa, and Mrs. William (Alberta) Leininger, Monaca; 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Goetz, Knox, Ind., and Mrs. Katherine Baker, Juniata, Pa. Friends are being received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the James J. Darroch Funeral Home, 2640 Mill St., Aliquippa, where a service will be conducted Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in the St. Titus Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Township. The rosary will be recited by the Holy Name Society today at 7:45 p.m. in the funeral home. Beaver County Times, November 25, 1974
