Harnish, at 7:30 o'clock on Sunday evening, March 26, passed from his earthly trials to the great beyond, which is welcomed by those who have led an honest, upright life. The deceased was born in Huntingdon county, April 6, 1817, and had five brothers and three sisters, of which number one brother, Peter, survives him. He married Maria Ross and to their union were born seven children, three sons and four daughters - Margaretta, Catharine M., wife of William Waters, Juniata B., Samuel R., William E., Archie C., and Marie E., wife of William J. Matthews. He is survived by one son and one daughter, Archie C. and Maria E. He was a member of the Presbyterian church of Hollidaysburg. The funeral services will be held at the residence of his son, A. C. Harnish, in Frankstown township, at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18. Interment in Presbyterian cemetery.
