All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ DEATH OF A CHILD Ivallo Mildred Harper, the 3-year-old daughter of Samuel Thomas and Isabel Harper, died at 2.20 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of the grandparents, 717 Ninth street after a short illness from pneumonia. Her father is at present in a base hospital in France suffering from shell shock and gas. The father left here almost a year ago and has seen much action in France with an infantry unit. The word of his being in the hospital only reached here last week. The child was born June 9, 1915 and is survived by her parents and one brother, John A., at home. The remains will be sent to Brisbin, Pa., this morning, where funeral services will be held and interment will be made. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Thursday Morning, November 14, 1918
