LOCAL AND PERSONAL.

J. M. Harper, one of Tyrone's prominent and honored citizens, was 
prostrated by the heat, while at work in S. McCamant & Co's. planing 
mill, Tuesday morning, from the effects of which he died at 2:30 the 
same afternoon.  Deceased was aged 60 years.
