OBITUARY.

  Vernon E. Harper, a son of Melvin and Virginia Harper, passed away at 
his home, 2059 Adams avenue, at 11 o'clock on Saturday evening.  The
youngster was born February 10, 1919.  Surviving with the parents is
one brother, Melvin C., at home.  Funeral services will be held at the
late home at 10:30 o'clock this morning.  Interment in Eastlawn
cemetery.
