Harris whose death occurred 40 four years ago to the very day, died yesterday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Robert A. Cook, wife of ex-Sheriff Robert Cook of Blair county, 1116 Fifth avenue. Death was due to diseases incident to advanced years. Mrs. Harris' husband died on May 8, 1892, exactly forty-four years ago. At the time they had been residing at what then was know as Washington avenue, Altoona. The deceased was born Nov. 5, 1845 in Penzance, Cornwall, England, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Carbis. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Cook; one son W. K. G. Harris, well known druggist: one sister, Mrs. Ellen Trewella of Seattle, Wash., eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Mrs. Harris was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal church. The funeral is to be held at the Tobias & Laughlin funeral home tomorrow afternoon in charge of Rev. Francis Daley.
