Harshberger of 1702 Twenty-ninth avenue, died this morning at 8 o'clock at her home of a complication of ailments after a short illness. The deceased was born on June 2, 1867, in Edinburgh, Scotland, a daughter of James and Elizabeth Ewans. Mrs. Harshberger was twice married, her first husband, Samuel Yingling, dying in 1916. Surviving are her husband and the following children: James, Robert, Samuel and Edward Yingling, Mrs. Margaret Minnick, Mrs. Elizabeth Messersmith and Mrs. Christina Weamer, all of Altoona. Mrs. Harshberger is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Williamson of Nanty-Glo; six step-children, Theodore, William, George, Frank and Albert Harshberger and Mrs. Ella Bowers, all of Altoona; forty-four grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament parish. The body may be viewed at the home after 6 o'clock this evening. HARSHBERGER - Funeral services for the late Mrs. Christina (Yingling) Harshberger of 1702 29th Ave. will be conducted on Saturday morning at 8 o'clock with mass of requiem in the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. Interment will follow in Calvary cemetery. Friends are being received at the home. Altoona Mirror, January 5, 1938
