Moody Hart, 90, formerly of Tyrone and a resident of Bradford the past four years, died Sunday at 1 p.m. in Bradford Hospital. She had been blind and in ill health for several years. She was the widow of Earl Hart, a stereotype and pressman for more than 40 years at the Tyrone Daily Herald. Since his death in 1958, she had resided in Bradford with a sister, Mrs. Maud Vail. She was born Feb. 28, 1873, at Wilcox, the daughter of Thomas and Amanda Springstead Lent. She was first married to Wilbur Moody, who died in an accident in 1905. She married Earl Hart at Bradford and they came to Tyrone shortly after. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the W. J. Stine Sunday School Class, Tyrone. In addition to her sister, a number of nieces and nephews survive, including Mrs. Wayne Thessen, Bradford; Hobart Lent, Ormsby, and Jack Lent, Smethport. Funeral service will be held at the Hollenbeck Funeral Chapel, 44 E. Corydon St., Bradford, on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Douglas Wright, Bradford, officiating. Burial will be in the family plot in Oak Hill Cemetery, in Bradford. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow. Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., Monday, April 22, 1963
