HOWARD EDWARD HART

A veteran employe of the Altoona works, died at the home of his sister, 
Mrs. H. T. Shay, 928 First avenue, at 11.40 o'clock yesterday morning 
after an extended illness.  He was born in the city on March 21, 1877, 
a son of David P. and Harriet (McPherran) Hart.  For the past forty-one 
years he had been employed as a boilermaker by the Pennsylvania 
Railroad company.  Surviving are one sister and two brothers, Mrs. 
Shay, Robert O. and F. W. Hart, all of the city.  Mr. Hart was a member 
of the First Church of Christ.  The body may be viewed at the Shay home 
where funeral services will be held at 2.30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.  
Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery.
