LOUIS HARTMAN

Died at 1:30 o'clock this morning, at his home, 1520 Seventeenth 
avenue, of blood poisoning, after an illness of six weeks.  Deceased 
was born in Philadelphia and was 69 years of age.  He was married at 
Carrolltown, Cambria county, to Elizabeth Hile.  She survives with four 
children: Mary, Minnie and Catharine, at home, and Andrew of this city; 
also three sisters, Mrs. Christina Houk, of Carrolltown; Mrs. Annie 
Swingenheimer and Mrs. Lizzie Weimer, of Minnesota, and one brother, 
Andrew J. of Altoona.  Mr. Hartman was a carpenter by occupation.  He 
had been a resident of Altoona for nineteen years.  He was a member of 
St. John's church.  The funeral will take place Saturday morning, mass 
being celebrated at St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock.  The interment will 
be made in St. John's cemetery.
