Deceased was born in Philadelphia and was 69 years of age. He was married at Carrolltown, Cambria county, to Elizabeth Hile. She survives with four children: Mary, Minnie and Catharine, at home, and Andrew of this city; also three sisters, Mrs. Christina Houk, of Carrolltown; Mrs. Annie Swingenheimer and Mrs. Lizzie Weimer, of Minnesota, and one brother, Andrew J. of Altoona. Mr. Hartman was a carpenter by occupation. He had been a resident of Altoona for nineteen years. He was a member of St. John's church. The funeral will take place Saturday morning, mass being celebrated at St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock. The interment will be made in St. John's cemetery.
