FRANK HARTZ,

A well-known Williamsburg veteran, died at the soldiers' home in Bath,
N.Y., last week from heart disease, superinduced by dropsy.  The
remains arrived in Williamsburg on Saturday and were interred in the
Methodist cemetery on Sunday, services having been conducted in the
Methodist church.  The deceased was born in Germany, but came to this
country when 18 years of age. He served all through the rebellion, and
for six years afterward, in the regular army.
