MARGARET A. HATCH

  Mrs. Hatch, 83, formerly of 312-4th St., died at 4:35 a.m. today, 
Nov. 19, 1992 at Valley View Home, following an extended illness.
  Mrs. Hatch retired as owner of Keystone Variety Store in 1972, after 
21 years' of service.
  She was born March 19, 1909, in Altoona, the daughter of James E. 
and Mary S. (Gauntner) Wolford.  She married Edwin C. Hatch on Aug. 25, 
1941, in Altoona.  He died Sept. 17, 1959
  Surviving are a daughter, Susan M. Quirin of Altoona, five 
stepchildren: Betty McClellan of Altoona, Rose Creighton of Osterburg,
Edwin C. Jr. and Donald of Hollidaysburg and Michael of Anchorage,
Alaska, 19 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.  A son Thomas A.
died Jan. 14, 1992.
  Mrs. Hatch was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church and Christian 
Mothers.
  Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Good's Funeral 
Parlor.  Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
