He was the son of Robert and Irene (Lee) Hatch and was born at Evergreen, Bradford county, July 5, 1870. He was united in marriage with Ellan [sic] Sherman of Towanda, who survives, with these children: Robert and Albert Hatch, both of Altoona, George and Paul of Williamsburg, Mark of Tyrone and Mrs. Irene Lear of Mt. Etna; 33 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Laur [sic] Emory of New Albany, Pa., Mrs. Olive Dresline of Towanda and Mrs. Rachel Robison of Monroton [sic], Pa. He was educated in the Hartford Soldier's Orphan school and had been employed for many years as a carpenter for the West Virginia Pulp and Paper company in Williamsburg. Friends will be received at the Bechtel funeral home, Williamsburg, after 7 o'clock this evening.
