Edward Haviland, the architect who designed and constructed the Blair county prison, and many other prisons and buildings in various parts of the country, died in the cars on Friday, the 22d inst., on his way to Media. He had been in feeble health for some time past, and on his last journey was accompanied by his daughter, a physician and servant.
