He was born in Prince George, Md., in 1863, and was a retired employe [sic] of the Pennsylvania Railroad company, although he had resided in Altoona only for the past two years. Surviving are one son, Warren Hawkins, jr., of Washington, D. C., one sister and one brother, Lucy and George Hawkins of Baltimore, Md., and three grandchildren. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic church in Washington, D.C. The body may be viewed at the Tobias & Laughlin funeral home, where funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning with Rev. Joseph A. Wozny, pastor of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church of the city, officiating. Interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery. Altoona Mirror, September 25, 1935
