JAMES PATRICK HAYES

Of 713 Montgomery street, Hollidaysburg, died at his home at 4.35 
o'clock yesterday afternoon.  He was born in Hollidaysburg on Feb. 4, 
1864, a son of Patrick and Mary (Maher) Hayes, and married Anna M. 
Bailey of Hollidaysburg on Oct. 6, 1907.  Mr. Hayes retired from the 
Altoona works as an employe of the Juniata machine shops in 1929 after 
twenty years' service.  Surviving are his wife and one sister, Mrs. 
Mary Lynam of Altoona.  Mr. Hayes was a member of St. Michael's 
Catholic church.  Friends are being received at the home.

HAYES - Funeral services for James Patrick Hayes of 713 Montgomery 
street, Hollidaysburg, will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock with 
requiem mass at St. Michael's Catholic church, Hollidaysburg.  
Interment in Greenlawn cemetery.  Friends are being received at the 
home after noon today.
