SAMUEL B. HAYES

Died at his home in Tyrone at 3.30 o'clock Monday morning of apoplexy. 
The deceased was born near Mt. Union, Huntingdon county, and was aged
54 years 11 months and 7 days.  He was a veteran of the late war,
serving in Company B of the 110th regiment.  Mr. Hayes is survived by
his wife and six children, also one brother, James Hayes of Mount
Union.  The funeral will occur at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the
First Methodist Episcopal church, where services will be conducted by
Rev. R. H. Gilbert.  Interment at Tyrone cemetery.
