HAZENSTAB Of 1532 Pleasant Valley boulevard, died at 3.25 o'clock this morning at the Veterans Administration hospital, where he had been a patient since Dec. 20, 1955. Mr. Hazenstab was born Aug. 28, 1888, in Altoona. Surviving are his wife, the former Dorothy Elizabeth Pincin; one son, Ferdinand J. of Altoona; two grandchildren and five sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Mary Newton of Akron, O., William Greiner of Ripley, N. Y.; and Mrs. Catherine Confer, Mrs. Anna Russell, Mrs. Clara Rath, Miss Freada Greiner and Frank Greiner, all of Altoona. Mr. Hazenstab was a retired Pennsylvania railroad laborer. He formerly was employed as a teamster of the Bell-Bockel Lime and Stone company, Altoona. A veteran of World war I, serving with the infantry in France, he was a member of Charles R. Rowan American Legion post 228. He also was a member of Mount Carmel Catholic church and the Catholic Knights of St. George. Friends will be received at the Hickey funeral home after 7 o'clock tomorrow evening. Altoona Mirror, April 23, 1956
