Hecht, of 817 Bell avenue, died at his home, at 12:40 o'clock Friday morning, following an illness of a year. Death was due to a complication of diseases. Mr. Hecht had spent eight weeks at Alberta, N.M. for his health and had been later treated at Mont Alto. He was born in this city October 22, 1888, the son of Michael and Lena Hecht, deceased. He had been employed in No. 2 erecting shop of the Pennsy company, and was a member of the relief association and St. Mary's German Catholic church. He is survived by two brothers, Edward J. and Charles L., and two sisters, Mrs. Lena Dailey and Miss Mary Hecht, all of this city. The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
