In sad but loving remembrance of our dear mother, Mrs. Ellen Elizabeth 
Hefferman who departed this life one year ago today, June 3, 1917.

Mother dear we surely miss you
You have left a vacant place
Though you fell in peaceful slumber
With a smile upon your face.

What is home without your mother
There is none can fill your place
You were always kind and gentle
And we miss your smiling face.
