CHARLES HEISLER,

Of the firm of F. E. Rickard & Co., ice and coal dealers, died at his
home, 1808 Fourteenth avenue, at 1:15 this afternoon, of apoplexy.  He
had been ailing since the 10th of June last, but had only been
seriously ill since last Sunday.  Deceased was born in Schuylkill
county, March 15, 1825, and has resided in Altoona for the past twenty
years.  Besides his wife he is survived by three children, Harry G.
Heister, Emma C. and Adella M., all of this city; also by one brother,
William, in Oregon, and one sister, Mrs. Catherine Leiser, of
Williamsport.  He was a member of the First Lutheran church of this
city and was also a Mason.

FUNERAL NOTICE.

The funeral of the late Charles Heisler will take place Saturday
afternoon at 2 o'clock, from the family residence, 1808 Fourteenth
avenue; interment in Fairview cemetery.
