Coroner Blackburn Calls Inquest in Heiss Fatality for Monday. Coroner W. T. Blackburn yesterday morning started an investigation of the death of Xavier Heiss, who died in the Altoona hospital Thursday evening as the result of injuries received when he and B. Freidland were hurled under an Eldorado car, which struck their buggy. It was announced by the coroner last evening that an inquest will be held in the parlors of Funeral Director N. A. Stevens, Eighth avenue near Seventeenth street, on Monday evening at 7:30. Mr. Stevens prepared the body for burial. The interment is to be made tomorrow afternoon. October 12, 1912 clipping The funeral of Xavier Heiss, who died at the Altoona hospital as the result of injuries received in a trolley accident, will be held tomorrow afternoon. Services will be conducted in St. Mary's German Catholic church, of which he was a member, at 4 o'clock, and interment will be made in St. Mary's cemetery. October 12, 1912 clipping
