EMORY E. HELSEL

Of 1308 4th Ave., who died unexpectedly in Wilmington, Del., Monday 
evening, was born in Roaring Spring on April 9, 1899, a son of Levi and 
Margaret (Hainley) Helsel, and on Jan. 29, 1932, in New York City 
married Gladys Gorman. Surviving are his wife, a grandson and two 
brothers, Charles A. of Roaring Spring and Clarence of the city. He was 
a member of the Church of God, veteran of four years' service in the 
Navy and retired in 1955 as a machinist for the P.R.R. Friends will be 
received in the Stevens Mortuary from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. tomorrow.
