Helsel, at one time a resident of Altoona, and for the past forty years a resident of this community, died at the family home in Coalport after an illness of several weeks' duration. Mr. Helsel was aged 75 years. Death occurred Sunday morning, March 1, 1925. Mr. Helsel had been an employe of the Pennsylvania railroad for a period of thirty-five years and was, five years ago, placed upon the retired list. Surviving are the widow, three sons, Charles, Joseph and Allen, all of this place, and one daughter, Mrs. Bell Baum, of Utahville, one brother, James, of Chicago, and one sister, Mrs. Nancy Wilson of Omaha, Neb. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, Rev. G. E. Householder, pastor of the Coalport United Brethren church, officiating.
