HOWARD C. HELSEL

Of Sinking Springs, R.D. 2, former resident of Hollidaysburg, died 
Saturday at Reading hospital. Mr. Helsel, was born Sept. 24, 1875, at 
Hollidaysburg, a son of David and Emma (Carns) Helsel. Surviving are 
his wife, the former Irene V. Cook; one son and one daughter, Edgar H. 
of Norfolk, Va., and Mrs. Gertrude Moran of Sinking Springs; two 
grandchildren and one brother and one sister, Jesse and Hettie of 
Hollidaysburg. Mr. Helsel was a member of the Hollidaysburg I.O.O.F. 
lodge. Friends are being received at the Lamm & Whitman funeral home, 
Wernersville.
