Bare Paper company at the Roaring Spring plant, died last evening at 9 o'clock, death being due to uremic poisoning. Mr. Helsel had been in ill health for the past five years, during which time he was unable to follow his employment. He was the son of David and Mrs. Sarah Helsel and was born in the Smith corner in Freedom township, Dec. 29, 1863. He is survived by his wife and these children: C. Gilbert and William H., both residing at 311 Fourteenth street, Altoona, Collins and Mrs. Martin Yon of Roaring Spring and Alice, at home. He is also survived by two brothers and one sister, John, Roaring Spring, Henry, Queen, and Mrs. Alexander Garber of East Freedom. Eleven grandchildren also survive. He was a member of the Roaring Spring Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted in the Albright Church of the Brethren south of Roaring Spring Saturday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock, in charge of his pastor, Rev. J. E. Yates.
