LEWIS P. HELSEL

Of 2229 First avenue died at the Altoona hospital at 3.21 o'clock this 
morning. He was born at Hopewell, June 5, 1889, a son of Edward F. and 
Fannie (Fluke) Helsel. He married Olive V. Hufford, who survives, along 
with two children, Major Wilford P., stationed in Texas, and Janet of 
West Virginia; one brother, Frederick R., of the city and two 
grandchildren. He was employed for 42 years as an engineer on the 
Middle division and was a member of the Simpson Methodist church. 
Friends will be received at the Laughlin funeral home after 7 o'clock 
tomorrow evening.
