MARSHALL H. HELSEL 

Of Box 331, Duncansville RD1, died at 12:45 p.m. yesterday, Sept. 30, 
1974, at Mercy Hospital, where he was admitted Aug. 11, after an 
extended illness. Mr. Helsel had retired from the Pennsylvania 
Railroad. He was born July 15, 1892, in Henrietta, a son of Henry and 
Lucy (Hess) Helsel, and married Velva Kuhn, who died Nov. 17, 1969. 
Surviving are three children, George of Oklahoma City, Okla., and 
Myrtle and Mrs. Utoka Johnston of Duncansville; nine grandchildren, 
three great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Susanna Wineland of 
Duncansville. Friends will be received in the Donald E. Liebegott 
Funeral Home, Duncansville, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
