MRS. MARTHA HELSEL

Widow of Blair Helsel, who died in Altoona in 1918, died on Saturday 
morning at 3.15 o'clock at the home of her nephew, Frank Reifsnyder, at 
East Liberty. She had made her home there for the past nine years. She 
was a native of Blair county, being born at Newry seventy-five years 
ago, a daughter of C. B. and Rose (Andrews) Malone, pioneer residents 
of the county. She conducted a general store at South Lakemont for a 
number of years. She was employed as a housekeeper for Rev. Father Leo 
G. Bailey at Lakemont for some years. The remains will be brought to 
Newry for burial, the funeral to be held Tuesday morning at 9.30 
o'clock from St. Patrick's Catholic church, Newry. Interment will be 
made in the cemetery there.
