MAUDE M. HELSEL

79, of 810 Grove St., Roaring Spring, died at 6:50 a.m. Thursday, July 
12, 1979, in Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring, following an extended 
illness. She was born Aug. 25, 1899, in Roaring Spring, the daughter of 
John O. and Sarah Ann (Treese) Shoenfelt, and Aug. 25, 1923, in 
Cumberland, Md., married David I. Helsel, who died March 27, 1967. 
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jane Elliott of MR, Roaring Spring, and 
a grandson. Mrs. Helsel was a member of the Trinity United Methodist 
Church, Patriotic Order of America, and the Senior Citizens Club, all 
of Roaring Spring. Friends will be received in the J. Gary Thompson 
Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.

HELSEL - Services for Maude M. Helsel of 810 Grove St., Roaring Spring, 
will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the J. Gary Thompson Funeral Home, 
Roaring Spring, by the Rev. Allyn Welliver. Interment in Holsinger 
Cemetery, Bakers Summit. Friends will be received in the funeral home 
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
