HELSEL, [Heltzel, see "Card of Thanks" below - ed.] Son of Johnson [Jonathan - ed.] and Catherine Helsel, deceased, died last evening at the Nason hospital at Roaring Spring. He died from heart trouble after a week's illness. Deceased was a well known resident of Roaring Spring, and was born Jan. 10, 1850, in Bedford county. He was married twice, his first wife being Miss Elizabeth Imler. To this union nine children were born, of which the following survive: Charles of Altoona, David of Ohio, James of Oklahoma, Mrs. Catherine Albright of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. Bessie Burket of Roaring Spring and Miss Jennie Helsel, at home. He was married the second time to Mrs. Rosie Bernige of Pittsburgh, who survives him. He is also survived by one brother and two sisters, John Helsel of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. Mary Burket of Lakemont and Miss Susan Helsel of Bakers Summit. Funeral services will be held in the Lutheran church at Roaring Spring, of which deceased was a faithful member, on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in Greenlawn cemetery.
