Edward Igou Henchey died at the home of his parents, John B. and Amanda J. Henchey, South Lincoln avenue above Eighth street, Saturday morning, November 18, at 9.30 o'clock of pluero pneumonia after an illness of four weeks. The deceased was an only son and was born in Tyrone December 11, 1883, at death being aged 15 years, 11 months and 7 days. Eddie, as he was familiarly known, was a bright, clever and ever pleasant boy, studious, willing, honest and industrious, a member of Chief Burgess Hoffman's class in the First Methodist Episcopal Sunday school and also a member of the Tyrone City band as tenor drummer. For several years he was an active and faithful carrier of the Tyrone Daily Herald force. He is survived by both parents and two half sisters, Mrs. Mary Mozart, of Charleston, South Carolina, and Miss Said Henchey, of Sandy Ridge, Centre county, both of whom were present during the last days of his illness. Funeral services will be held in the First Methodist Episcopal church to-morrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, to be conducted by Rev. W. M. Frysinger, D.D., interment to follow in Tyrone cemetery.
