HELEN L. HENDERSON 

Mrs. Henderson, 85, of Woodhaven Nursing Home, Monroeville, formerly of
505 Crawford Ave., died at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 1993, at the
home.  She was born Jan. 6, 1908, in Altoona, the daughter of Arnold
and Louise C. (Kachele) Friedli.  She married Lyle M. Henderson on Aug.
30, 1931, in Altoona.  He died Dec. 29, 1985.  Surviving are three
children:  Duane M. of Canton, Ohio, Ethel L. Farrell of Monroeville
and Marlene D. Summers of Huntington Beach, Calif.; 10 grandchildren
and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters: Bertha E.
Duffey of Altoona and Florence Krause of Canton.  Mrs. Henderson was a
member of St. James Lutheran Church and the Jolly St. Jamers.  She was
also a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Swiss Rifle Club.  Friends
will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Gilden Barton
Funeral Home.

HENDERSON - Services for Helen L. Henderson will be held at 9 p.m.
Tuesday in Gilden Barton Funeral Home, by the Rev. Ralph W. Hamer.
Interment in Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.  Friends will be received
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
