HENGST Mrs. Margaret Curry Hengst, of 532 Middle avenue, Wilmerding, died Wednesday morning, November 16, at 5:45 o'clock, at the home of her mother, Mrs. Jennie Curry, in Roaring Spring, death coming very suddenly from an attack of pneumonia which was contracted on Tuesday evening. Mrs. Hengst came to Roaring Spring with her sister, Miss Daisy Curry, four weeks ago to care for their mother, who was seriously ill. She was getting ready to return to her home in Wilmerding on Saturday, and had arranged to take her mother with her. The deceased was born at Waterside, Bedford county, November 20, 1897, the daughter of James (deceased) and Jennie Ober Curry, and resided there until 15 years ago when she came to Blair county. The family moved to Roaring Spring in 1917. She was united in marriage with Guy Hengst, March 28, 1919, when they moved to Wilmerding, where her husband is employed by the Westinghouse Air-brake Company. Besides her mother she is survived by her husband and two children, Homer, aged 20 months, and Freda, aged 5 months; also these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Daisy Curry, of Wilmerding; Arthur, of 1713 1/2 Twelfth avenue, Altoona; Mrs. Laura Hyle, of Hollidaysburg; John, of Roaring Spring; Daniel, of Miltonvale, Kansas; Frank, at home. She was a member of the Roaring Spring Church of God, where funeral services were conducted Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, by Rev. J. A. Detter, of Penbrook, assisted by Rev. W. H. Snyder of Martinsburg and Rev. S. N. Good of Roaring Spring. Interment in Loysburg cemetery. The following from a distance attended the funeral of Mrs. Hengst: S. K. Ober, of Buda, Ill.; Mrs. Eliza Sutcliffe and daughter, Mae, of Youngstown, Ohio; Clarence Myers, of Wilmerding; Mr. and Mrs. George Yarrnel and family and Mrs. Gertrude Berkhimer, of Winber.
