Hengst died at 11.30 o'clock on Sunday night at her home on North Juniata street, Hollidaysburg, from apoplexy following a stroke sustained on Saturday. She was born at Tyrone Forges May 12, 1836, and was aged 82 years at the date of her death. Her husband died fourteen years ago. Mrs. Hengst was a member of the First Baptist church of Hollidaysburg and is survived by the following sons: Allisen, Jesse, Landis and William, all of Hollidaysburg. Hengst, who died at her late home on North Juniata street on Sunday evening, will be held this afternoon at her late home at 3:30 o'clock, after which interment will be made in the Presbyterian cemetery.
