All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ Mrs. Louisa Henshey died at her home in Bellwood yesterday afternoon at 4.30 o'clock, aged 77 years and 3 months. Her husband, Samuel Henshey, died nine years ago. One sister, Mrs. Lower, survives and resides in Petersburg. Seven sons and daughters survive, viz: Mrs. Hartzell, of Pittsburg; Mrs. Rickabaugh, of Altoona; Mrs. Irvin, of Bellwood; Mrs. Gibson, of Tyrone; William Henshey, of Mount Jewett, Pa.; James Henshey, of Chicago; and Henry, of Fostoria. Deceased's maiden name was Louisa Shope, and she was born at Hollidaysburg. Her parents moved to Huntingdon county while she was young and there she was married to Samuel Henshey. She was a consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal church, having been connected with that denomination for over fifty years. Funeral services will be held at the M. E. church on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of Rev. S. D. Wilson, and interment will follow in Logan Valley cemetery. Tyrone Daily Herald, Friday, March 9, 1900
