Mr. Samuel Henshey, an old resident of Fostoria, died Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock. He has been sick a great deal for about two years with stomach troubles and the last few months gradually grew weaker. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, after bidding each one a solemn good bye and pronouncing his blessing upon them. He leaves a wife, three sons and four daughters, W. W. Henshey, of McKean county, Pa.; H. S. Henshey, of Fostoria, Pa.; James K. Henshey, of Tyrone, Pa.; Mrs. Elizabeth Hartzell, of Allegheny county, Pa.; Mrs. A. C. Rickabaugh, of Altoona; Mrs. J. H. Gibson, of Tyrone, and Miss Ida Henshey, who is at home, the stay and comfort of her widowed mother. Mr. Henshey was born in Sinking Valley on the 19th day of July, 1819. Funeral on Saturday at 10 a.m., from his late residence in Fostoria. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Friday, January 23, 1891
