HETTERLY, Well known Pennsy employe and resident of this city, died yesterday morning at 5.10 o'clock at his home, 510 Second avenue, death resulting from congestion of the lungs. He had been ill one week. He was born at Thurmont, Md., on Jan. 30, 1863, the son of Ira and Sara Hetterly, both deceased. He had been employed in the Juniata boiler shop for the past thirty years, coming to this city many years ago. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary A. Emeigh Hetterly of Claysburg, and one son and a daughter, Mrs. J. C. Gleichert of this city, and Ralph at home. He is also survived by two brothers: John Hetterly of Martinsburg and Henry Hetterly of Thurmont, Md. The deceased was a member of the Bethany Lutheran church and was loved by all who knew him. The funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock from the Bethany Lutheran church, with Rev. A. J. Rudisill in charge. Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery.
