At 12:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon Miss Alice Amelia Hickey died at the home of her mother, 1307 Seventeenth avenue, after an illness of two years. She was a patient sufferer and bore her ailment with that fortitude which had marked her entire life, Deceased was a daughter of Patrick (deceased) and Catherine Hickey, and had resided all her life in the city. She was a devout member of St. John's Catholic church and was esteemed and beloved by a wide circle of friends. She is survived by her mother and one sister, Sara Hickey, at home. The funeral will leave the house at 8:30 o'clock Friday morning and proceed to St. John's church, where mass will be celebrated at 9 o'clock. Interment will be made in St. John's cemetery.
