City Woman Dies at 103

  Cora V. Hiester, 103, of Eleventh Street Tower, died 3:20 a.m. 
Sunday, April 4, 1982, in Hillview Convalescent Center, after a brief 
illness.
  She was born April 1, 1879, in Altoona, the daughter of Theophilus 
and Sarah (Hoover) Nicewonger, and June 15, 1895, married Edward 
Hiester, who died Oct. 6, 1932.
  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy B. James of Hillview 
Convalescent Center, a grandson and two great-grandchildren.
  Mrs. Hiester was a member of the First Lutheran Church.
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Daniel R. 
Myers Funeral Home.

HIESTER - Services for Cora V. Hiester of Eleventh Street Tower will be 
held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Daniel R. Myers Funeral Home, by the 
Rev. Glenn L. Stahl. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends will be 
received from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Daniel R. Myers Funeral Home.
