Hileman, son of Wm. Hileman, of Frankstown township, and a member of Capt. McFarlane's company, 137th regiment, who died in the St. Elizabeth hospital, near Washington city, on the 9th inst., a victim of typhoid fever, a disease that has made sad havoc in the ranks of our gallant soldiers. His remains were embalmed and brought home and interred in the Lutheran grave yard, below Frankstown, on Saturday last. He was an intelligent and excellent young man, and his death is deeply lamented, not only by his companions in arms, but by a large circle of relatives and acquaintances.
