We are again called upon to record the unexpected death of one of our most worth and industrious citizens, in the person of Adolphus Hileman, aged fifty-six years, which occurred on yesterday at 5 o'clock P.M., from an appopletic fit. Mr. Hileman, on the day of his death, up to within a few minutes previous to his demise, was enjoying his usual good health, and promised to live to a good old age. On that day he was passing along the street near Wm. Myer's blacksmith shop, where he was struck down, and carried into the shop and soon afterwards expired. He leaves a good name, and many warm friends and relatives behind who are grief- stricken at this sad occurrence. Altoona Sun, Friday, May 1, 1874, page 3
