Hillard, wife of Stephen Hillard, died of influenza- pneumonia at 3 o'clock yesterday morning in the family home at 1907 Sixth avenue, Juniata. The deceased is survived by her husband and five small children -John, Thelma, Harold, Gerald and Geraldine - twins aged 20 months. Mrs. Hillard was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kipple, of Altoona, and was born May 19, 1887. Her parents and two sisters, Mrs. Ed Burkholder and Miss Edith Kipple, of Altoona, survive. She was for many years a member of the Bellwood Methodist Episcopal church and was also a member of the Ladies' auxiliary to the B. of R. T. No. 124, in this city. The funeral will take place Saturday afternoon, services to be conducted at the house at 2 o'clock by her pastor, Rev. J. F. Anderson, assisted by Rev. J. K. Knisely.
