Mrs. Margaretha, the very estimable wife of John A. Hiller died at her home on Main street yesterday morning at about four o'clock, it being the date of her birth, after a lingering illness with heart trouble. The deceased was born at Pfefferbach, Prussia, February 7, 1827, and was in consequence 65 years of age at the time of death. She came to America in July, 1847, and settled in Pittsburg, Pa. On May 6, 1852 she was united in marriage to John A. Hiller, and on April 4, 1855, she with her husband removed to Tyrone, where they have since resided. Two sons and one daughter have preceded their mother to the grave. To mourn their loss, are the grief stricken husband, three daughters, one son and two brothers, all of whom have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community. the daughters are, Wilhelmina and Henrietta, who make their home with their parents, and Mrs. John Bottger, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; the son William F., who also makes his home with his parents; the brothers are, Jacob Braun, of Louisville, Kentucky, and Nicholas Braun, of Pittsburg, Pa. She was a true Christian lady and for many years was a faithful member of the First English Lutheran church. She will indeed be missed from our midst, especially from the fireside which by her pleasant manner and loving nature was always so bright and cheerful. The remains will be taken to the English Lutheran church tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock, where the pastor, Rev. A. S. Fichthorn will conduct the funeral services.
