At -- o'clock this morning Mrs. Bertha McClellan Hindman, wife of Samuel M. Hindman, died at her home, 926 First avenue, of consumption, after an illness of three months. After she was taken sick her husband took her to New York and to the seashore in the hope of regaining her health, but she gradually grew worse and returned home without being -- ---. She was born in Altoona March? 21, 1870, being the daughter of -- - deceased and Rebecca McClellan, and was married December 25, 1895. Two children were born to the union, one dying in infancy two and a half years ago and the other dying at the age of 3 months on the 26th of July. She was a member of the Eighth Avenue Methodist Episcopal church and was a consistent Christian lady, active in the performance of her church duties. She was a teacher in the Sunday school up to the time that her illness made it impossible for her to attend. Besides her husband and mother she is survived by one brother, Lloyd T., of this city. The funeral of Mrs. Bertha McClellan Hindman will take place this afternoon from her late home, 926 First avenue. Services will be conducted, beginning at 4.30 o'clock, by Rev. T. S.
