He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hinton and was born at Woodbury on June 18, 1854, and was a life-long resident of Taylor township, being a farmer. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Nettie Carper of this city, Mrs. Rose Rodland of Roselawn, Mrs. Jennie Kyper of Woodbury, Mrs. Rebecca Frederick of Taylor township, William of Roaring Spring and Mary, Joseph and Henry, all at home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning at 9.30 o'clock followed by interment in the Replogle cemetery at Woodbury. Services and funeral will be private.
